Access & approvals

How access and approvals work

3 min read

Browsing and downloading are two different things. Anyone can read about an experience. Receiving the materials requires approved access.

  1. 1

Approval is by email address or company domain

Your Confetti admin maintains the approved list. Access is granted either to an individual email address or to your whole company domain, so everyone at your organisation is covered by one entry.

  2. 2

Every request is checked on the server

When someone requests a toolkit, the request is verified against the approved list before any materials are sent. The check does not depend on which page the request came from.

    • Unapproved addresses are declined and offered a demo instead
    • Access entries can carry an expiry date
    • Some plans include a limit on how many toolkits can be redeemed
  3. 3

Shared toolkit pages do not grant access

A generated toolkit page contains titles, descriptions, and objectives only. It carries no download links or files. Requesting a toolkit from that page runs the same approval check as anywhere else.

    Getting added

If your address is not recognised, ask your Confetti point of contact to add your email address or your company domain to the approved list. Once added, requests go through immediately.

Common questions

I forwarded a toolkit link to a colleague — can they download?
Only if their email address or domain is on the approved list. The link lets them read; approval lets them download.
Our access has an expiry date. What happens then?
Requests are declined after the expiry date until your access is renewed. Your Confetti contact can extend it.
